The Optimum feature that Cablevision has to offer on laptops will definitely be a bonus for all their customers that do not have an iPad. I use my services on my laptop and iPad through Dish all the time. I love the streaming service I have through Dish because I can take it outside of my home. The other day I took my iPad with a co-worker from Dish to get a manicure. We caught up on the Housewives of OC while we got our Mani and Pedi’s. With the Sling Adapter hooked up to my receiver and the Dish Remote Access app, I can access my subscription channels and DVR recordings from anywhere I can get a 3G or Wi-Fi connection. It is great to have my TV on the go and that is one thing Cablevision cannot do still.
